YLCSS
Youth Leadership and Community Service Symposium. The flagship event of LCSS. where 400 students from different public/government schools were invited to LUMS to participate in interactive activities to provide a holistic educational experience.
Project Justuju
This is one of the biggest events of the year. We had 2 chapters of Project Justuju, one held in Karachi and the other one held in Lahore entertaining over 1200 participants. This social responsibility program was spread across 60 schools, where students were engaged in different themes to help with their grooming, from sports to entrepreneurial mindset.
Cancer Awareness Week
During this event we emphasize on the early detection and treatment of cancer. We arrange a fundraiser event via LUMS’s largest food street and a variety of fun activities to collect funds for the cancer patients.
Special Olypmics
The Spring Flagship Event of the events department, powered by Special Olympics Pakistan, shall entail differently-abled student-athletes competing in a series of sports activities, which shall serve to prepare them for the International Special Olympic Games 2024.
Medical Camp
This camp will offer vital medical services and essential medications under the guidance of skilled doctors. We take pride in our successful past ventures, with medical camps held in Chiniot and Jarpal, and are enthusiastic about expanding our outreach to even more villages. Together, we strive to foster healthier and happier communities.
Blood Drive
The Blood Drives are geared towards collecting blood from potential donors and to connect them to the patients in need. It is conducted in collaboration with the Noor Thalassemia Foundation. In our fall blood drive, we successfully collected 250 bags of blood from the student body, contributing to children suffering from Thalassemia.
SOCH
During SOCH, students from local schools are invited to the campus for a day filled with enriching activities. From lively debates to brain-teasing riddles, every moment is geared towards nurturing their intellectual and social development. As the day draws to a close, we wrap up with an entertaining session, leaving the children with smiles on their faces and newfound confidence in their abilities.
Mental Health Escapade
The event is meant to help students cope with rising stress levels during the semester. From specialized sessions in BB schools to stress relieving activities, we teach them about the importance of Mental health and how to channel their negative energies.
